Senior developer responsible for migrating ServiceMax implementations to Salesforce Field Service Lightning, designing and configuring FSL features, and optimizing field service processes using Apex and Lightning Web Components.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end migration of ServiceMax solutions to Salesforce Field Service Lightning, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
- Analyze existing ServiceMax configurations and map them to the FSL data model, including Work Orders, Service Appointments, Assets, and Service Resources.
- Design, develop, and configure core FSL components such as scheduling policies, dispatcher console, service territories, and mobile app features.
- Write custom Apex logic and Lightning Web Components to extend native FSL functionality and meet complex business requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and integration teams to implement APIs and middleware for seamless data exchange between Salesforce and external systems.
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience developing on the Salesforce platform, with a focus on Field Service Lightning.
- Proven expertise in migrating ServiceMax implementations to native Salesforce FSL, including data model translation and configuration redesign.
- Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and declarative Salesforce tools (Flows, Process Builder).
- Experience with integration patterns (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware) and data migration techniques.
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II and Field Service Lightning Consultant are highly desirable.
