Lead safety design and risk assessment for new tool products, driving hazard analysis, safety requirements, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure compliance and protect users and assets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce safety requirements as part of a cross‑functional design team.
- Lead Hazard Analysis Reviews, performing risk assessments of concepts, designs, and products.
- Advise Project Leaders, Product Managers, Design Engineers, and Reliability Engineers on safety tests and design constraints to minimize injury and property damage.
- Communicate safety findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- Support qualification of new products through safety testing and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in safety engineering, hazard analysis, and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and product development processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead safety initiatives across teams.
