About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce a comprehensive Zero Injury Safety program across all data center construction sites.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Provide safety training and mentorship to project teams, subcontractors, and visitors, fostering a culture of safety.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to integrate safety considerations into design and construction plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of progressive safety engineering experience in large‑scale construction, preferably data center or high‑tech facilities.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and produce actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- BS degree in Safety Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
