About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Ruby and Rails applications, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with product owners, domain experts, and DevOps to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver releases on schedule.
- Write clean, well‑tested code using RSpec, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and enforce coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best practices across the team.
- Integrate with external services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting performance and reliability issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing in Ruby on Rails.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
