Senior Robotics Systems Engineer - Neural Reconstruction & Real2Sim - NVIDIA
Systems Engineer
Design and deliver high‑performance 3D reconstruction and Real2Sim pipelines that convert sensor streams into simulation‑ready assets for robotics learning and deployment, using C++, Python, ROS, CUDA and computer‑vision techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement dense 3D reconstruction systems that ingest multi‑modal sensor data and output high‑fidelity meshes and point clouds.
- Develop end‑to‑end Real2Sim pipelines, integrating simulation frameworks with robotics middleware to produce production‑grade environments.
- Optimize computational kernels using CUDA and GPU acceleration to meet real‑time performance targets.
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate novel algorithms into robust, maintainable software components.
- Maintain CI/CD workflows, testing, and documentation for the entire reconstruction and simulation stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in C++ and Python development for robotics or computer‑vision systems.
- Strong expertise in ROS (Robot Operating System) and GPU programming with CUDA.
- Proven track record building large‑scale 3D reconstruction or simulation pipelines.
- Solid understanding of computer‑vision algorithms, sensor fusion, and real‑time processing.
- Experience with modern simulation platforms (e.g., Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Unity) and software engineering best practices.
