Senior Robotics Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, developing, testing, and optimizing complex mechanical and electromechanical systems for next‑generation robotic platforms in healthcare.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the concept, design, and development of mechanical and electromechanical subsystems for advanced medical robots.
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks and validate designs through simulation and analysis.
- Develop and implement control algorithms and software integration using Python, MATLAB, and ROS to achieve precise motion and safety requirements.
- Plan and execute prototype testing, collect performance data, and iterate designs to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including electrical, software, and clinical experts—to ensure seamless system integration and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks) and mechanical analysis (FEA, kinematics).
- Strong knowledge of control systems, robotics middleware (ROS), and programming in Python/MATLAB.
- Hands‑on experience with prototype fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical assemblies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
