Robotics Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of high‑speed control systems for autonomous counter‑UAV platforms, leveraging robotics, embedded C/C++, ROS, and UAV expertise to ensure precise detection, tracking, and neutralization of drone threats.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate the physical control systems for autonomous interceptor platforms, ensuring high‑speed maneuverability and reliability.
- Implement real‑time control algorithms in embedded C/C++ and integrate them with ROS middleware for sensor fusion and state estimation.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to select and interface with actuators, sensors, and power systems, optimizing for weight, power, and latency.
- Conduct rigorous testing, including flight trials and hardware‑in‑the‑loop simulations, to verify control performance and safety margins.
- Document design decisions, test results, and maintenance procedures to support rapid iteration and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in robotics or aerospace control systems, with a strong background in embedded software.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and ROS, plus experience with real‑time operating systems.
- Deep understanding of control theory, sensor fusion, and UAV dynamics.
- Hands‑on experience with flight testing and hardware integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
