About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and design high‑performance RF receiver chains and front‑end modules for routers, fiber extenders, and DIFI‑based RF‑over‑IP solutions.
- Own the design process from whiteboard concepts to working hardware, ensuring performance targets are met through rigorous bench validation.
- Conduct system‑level studies, trade‑offs, and risk assessments to optimize signal integrity and power efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with signal processing, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to integrate RF subsystems into complete products.
- Lead design reviews, provide technical mentorship, and drive continuous improvement of RF design methodologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in RF system and front‑end design for mission‑critical applications.
- Proficiency with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS) and measurement equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
- Strong understanding of RF‑over‑IP protocols, DIFI architecture, and fiber‑optic integration.
- Experience in firmware collaboration and mechanical packaging considerations.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a hands‑on engineering mindset.
