Lead the design, simulation, and testing of advanced phased‑array antenna systems for global satellite ground stations, driving high‑performance RF solutions that enable real‑time, reliable communications for critical missions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize phased‑array antenna architectures for satellite ground stations, ensuring compliance with performance and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and validate RF models using simulation tools (HFSS, CST, ADS) and translate results into manufacturable designs.
- Lead end‑to‑end RF testing, including S‑parameter measurements, beam‑pattern characterization, and environmental qualification.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electronics, software, systems) to integrate antenna subsystems into scalable ground‑station platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in RF/antenna design for satellite or high‑frequency communication systems.
- Proficiency with electromagnetic simulation tools (HFSS, CST, ADS) and RF test equipment.
- Strong understanding of phased‑array theory, beamforming, and signal integrity.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
