Systems Engineer
Senior engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud‑based revenue cycle systems, leveraging AWS, Python, and API integrations to support large‑scale dental practice platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable revenue cycle services on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for multi‑location dental groups.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and data pipelines that integrate practice management, imaging, and billing systems.
- Collaborate with product, data, and security teams to define requirements, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and incident response using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Analyze system metrics and financial data to identify optimization opportunities and reduce processing latency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building SaaS solutions, preferably in healthcare or financial domains.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands‑on experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and infrastructure‑as‑code frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of revenue cycle management concepts and data security/compliance standards.
