Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate finite element models for complex structural systems.
• Lead multidisciplinary research projects, integrating computational methods with experimental data.
• Publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at national conferences.
• Mentor graduate students and collaborate with faculty across engineering disciplines.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring reproducibility and high‑quality analysis.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Proven expertise in finite element analysis and structural dynamics.
• Strong programming skills in Python and MATLAB for data analysis and model development.
• Excellent communication skills, with a track record of publications and presentations.
• Experience managing research teams and securing external funding is a plus.
