About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of AMS analog circuits tailored for neutral atom control systems.
- Architect board-level solutions, ensuring signal integrity, power management, and thermal performance.
- Oversee prototype bring‑up, troubleshooting, and iterative refinement of hardware components.
- Collaborate with quantum AI teams to translate experimental requirements into robust electronic designs.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and performance metrics for future scalability.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Proven experience in AMS analog design and board-level engineering for high‑precision scientific instruments.
- Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power delivery, and thermal management in complex boards.
- Hands‑on expertise with PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and simulation software.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a research‑driven environment.
