About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute preclinical studies to identify and validate neuronal protein targets for degradation.
- Develop and optimize CRISPR-based gene editing strategies in neuronal cell lines and animal models.
- Analyze high‑throughput omics data to uncover mechanistic insights and biomarker candidates.
- Collaborate with medicinal chemistry and pharmacology teams to translate findings into therapeutic candidates.
- Publish results in peer‑reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years of post‑doctoral research.
- Proven expertise in protein degradation technologies (e.g., PROTACs, molecular glues).
- Strong background in CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing and in vivo animal work.
- Experience with bioinformatics pipelines and data analysis tools (Python, R).
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of publishing high‑impact research.
