About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate statistical and machine learning models to quantify the impact of advertising spend on sales across multiple channels and time horizons.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate measurement solutions into Amazon Ads products, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Lead the creation of AI tools that generate custom queries and reports from natural language requests, enhancing advertiser self‑service.
- Analyze large, heterogeneous datasets using SQL and Python, extracting actionable insights and presenting findings to stakeholders.
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines on AWS, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field with 5+ years of research experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with AWS services (S3, Redshift, SageMaker).
- Strong background in causal inference, A/B testing, and advanced machine learning techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
- Experience in AdTech or digital marketing measurement is highly desirable.
