Research Engineer
Lead advanced experimental research, designing and executing rigorous tests to generate data-driven insights for product safety and performance, leveraging Python, MATLAB, and machine learning techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and analyze complex experiments to evaluate product safety, performance, and consumer impact.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and MATLAB, ensuring accurate collection, cleaning, and storage of experimental data.
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to uncover patterns, predict outcomes, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate research findings into actionable insights for policy advocacy and product improvement.
- Document methodologies, results, and best practices in clear, reproducible formats for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Engineering, Statistics, or related field with strong experimental research background.
- Proven experience in experimental design, data analysis, and statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for data processing and modeling.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and their application to real‑world datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex findings to diverse audiences.
