About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines for large-scale epidemiological datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques in Python and R to analyze disease trends and risk factors.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists and clinicians to translate analytical results into actionable research questions.
- Document analytical workflows, maintain reproducible code repositories, and support peer‑review processes.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in research data analysis within a biomedical or public health setting.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn), SQL, and R (tidyverse, ggplot2).
- Strong statistical background and experience with hypothesis testing, regression, and survival analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex results to non‑technical audiences.
