About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and engineering of utility‑scale solar PV and battery storage projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and validate detailed energy models and simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and Python to optimize system performance and cost‑effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate power electronics, inverters, and grid‑connection interfaces, addressing reliability, safety, and efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and techno‑economic analyses to support project development and financing.
- Prepare technical documentation, design reviews, and performance reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in renewable energy project engineering, with a strong focus on solar PV and battery storage.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and power system analysis tools.
- Deep understanding of grid codes, power electronics, and energy storage technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
