About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Design RESTful APIs and integrate with SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product owners, QA, and DevOps to deliver high‑quality releases in an Agile environment.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software design and testing.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including refactoring, automation, and performance tuning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with deep knowledge of Spring ecosystem.
- Proven track record in building and scaling microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational database design.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
