Senior engineer responsible for integrating and testing advanced AESA radar and missile‑defense systems, driving hardware‑software validation, signal‑processing development, and compliance with aerospace standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integration of active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar hardware and software subsystems into flight‑worthy prototypes.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and automated test scripts to validate performance, reliability, and compliance with DO‑254 and MIL‑STD requirements.
- Perform signal‑processing analysis and algorithm verification using MATLAB and C++ to ensure target detection, tracking, and kill‑assessment capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—systems, software, mechanical, and mission analysts—to resolve integration issues and optimize system architecture.
- Document test results, generate technical reports, and provide recommendations for design improvements and production readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Radar Engineering, or related field; 7+ years of experience in radar system integration and test.
- Proficiency in C++ development and MATLAB for signal‑processing and data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with AESA radar hardware, RF front‑ends, and high‑speed digital interfaces.
- Knowledge of aerospace standards such as DO‑254, MIL‑STD‑1553, and experience conducting hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and excellent technical communication.
