QA Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end QA for a growing insurance platform, driving automation, test strategy, and continuous delivery using Selenium, Java, and Agile practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites with Selenium and Java to cover functional, regression, and performance scenarios.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and DevOps to define testable requirements and integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead test planning, execution, and defect management, ensuring high quality releases and timely issue resolution.
- Mentor junior QA staff, fostering best practices in test automation, code reviews, and test documentation.
- Analyze test metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend process enhancements to increase test coverage and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in a fast‑paced software environment, preferably in financial or insurance domains.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG or similar frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented mindset.
