About the Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of HighRadius products. You will join our exceptional product and engineering team and contribute to improving product quality by designing and implementing test plans and test cases. Your strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes will be crucial in this role.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers and developers to understand project requirements, specifications, and timelines.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise descriptions with steps to reproduce.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members.
- Work with stakeholders and provide testing status reports.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance.
- Good knowledge of various QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SOAPUI, etc.
- Experience with automation testing using tools like Selenium, UFT, Cypress, TestNG, etc.
- Experience working with project management and bug tracking tools like JIRA, Confluence, TestRail.
- Experience working with any Version Control System (VCS) like Git/GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in Gherkin (BDD) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
