About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for trading engine, order matching, and risk management modules using Python and Selenium/Cypress.
- Implement API and performance tests to validate latency, throughput, and fault tolerance of real‑time trading services.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure rapid feedback loops.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable defect reports to engineering teams.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation, code quality, and test data management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in high‑volume, low‑latency trading or financial services environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Selenium, Cypress, and API testing frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control (Git).
- Solid understanding of performance testing concepts and tools (JMeter, k6).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
