Senior QA Engineer with 6–10 years of experience, skilled in test automation, SQL data validation, and CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Octopus, and Bitbucket, driving high‑quality releases for complex software solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Automate functional and regression test suites using industry‑standard automation tools.
- Validate data integrity and perform complex SQL queries, including joins, to verify backend data quality.
- Manage test execution and defect tracking within Jira, ensuring timely resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, Octopus, and Bitbucket.
- Collaborate with development, product, and analytics teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and quality expectations.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of professional QA experience, preferably in IT, software, or analytics domains.
- Strong analytical mindset with solid knowledge of data analysis concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, including writing complex queries and joins.
- Hands‑on experience with Jira, TeamCity, Octopus, and Bitbucket or similar version‑control tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one test automation framework or tool.
