QA Engineer
Senior QA Engineer responsible for validating AI‑powered RAG applications, ensuring compliance with Japanese corporate standards, and driving high‑stakes quality assurance through automated testing and rigorous validation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end QA for a custom AI‑powered consolidation assessment platform, focusing on functional, non‑functional, and operational requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for RAG workflows, data pipelines, and model inference pipelines.
- Validate AI model outputs against business rules, compliance standards, and performance benchmarks, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Collaborate closely with development, data science, and product teams to define test plans, risk assessments, and release criteria.
- Act as the primary QA liaison for Japanese enterprise stakeholders, translating technical findings into clear, bilingual reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in complex software environments, preferably with AI or data‑centric products.
- Strong knowledge of RAG architectures, model validation techniques, and compliance frameworks (e.g., Japanese corporate standards).
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent) and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English, with the ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile development practices.
