QA Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end quality assurance for robotic‑assisted surgical software, driving test automation, defect management, and continuous improvement using Selenium, Java, and Python in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for surgical software using Selenium, Java, and Python.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define test plans, scenarios, and acceptance criteria for new features and releases.
- Execute regression, integration, and performance tests, analyze results, and report defects through JIRA.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior QA engineers on best practices and automation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including test coverage metrics, CI/CD pipeline integration, and test environment management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in a regulated medical device or high‑reliability software environment.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Python for test automation.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) is a plus.
