About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional and UAT testing for new features in the Avaloq core banking platform, ensuring business outcomes meet defined requirements.
- Analyze user stories and requirements, creating detailed test plans, cases, and scripts aligned with squad objectives.
- Manage test execution, defect tracking, and resolution across EMEA and APAC regions, maintaining clear communication with developers and product owners.
- Provide quality oversight for squad deliverables, mentoring junior QA members and promoting best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile Scrum ceremonies to refine backlog and improve testing processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in banking or financial services, with deep knowledge of core banking systems.
- Proficient in functional testing, UAT, and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr).
- Strong analytical skills, ability to translate business requirements into testable scenarios.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and squad‑level collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
