QA Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end API automation using Playwright within a modern test architecture, driving scoping, estimation, and delivery while blending manual QA expertise with advanced automation strategies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead automation scoping, estimation, and project kickoff activities for API testing initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain Playwright test suites that cover functional, regression, and performance scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure timely delivery of test artifacts.
- Represent the Automation team in project meetings, providing status updates, risk assessments, and improvement recommendations.
- Mentor junior QA engineers on best practices for test design, coding standards, and test maintenance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on API automation.
- Expertise in Playwright and modern test frameworks, with hands‑on coding in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of test architecture, test data management, and continuous integration.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into robust test cases.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and delivering on tight schedules.
