About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Playwright automation scripts and frameworks to increase test coverage and execution speed.
- Architect and implement AI‑driven testing solutions, including generative AI agents, to automate complex test scenarios and improve defect detection.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliable, continuous delivery across multiple environments.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers to define test strategies, resolve defects, and support rapid release cycles.
- Conduct manual exploratory testing when needed, providing comprehensive feedback on usability and functionality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with deep expertise in Playwright and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Proven experience designing and deploying AI‑based testing tools or generative AI models to enhance test efficiency.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands‑on experience integrating automated tests into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and modern QA best practices.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset for working with cross‑functional teams.
