Senior QA Analyst responsible for designing, executing, and managing comprehensive test plans across complex commercial projects, leveraging automation tools like Selenium, test management platforms, and Agile methodologies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and review functional and non‑functional requirements to develop detailed test plans and test cases.
- Execute manual and automated tests, identify defects, and track resolution through defect management tools.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and data engineers to understand system architecture and integration points.
- Maintain test documentation, including test scripts, test data, and test results, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing test insights and risk assessments to the sprint team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in commercial software development environments.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data validation and test data creation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with diverse teams.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and continuous integration pipelines is a plus.
