Lead large‑scale engineering projects from concept to delivery, driving cross‑functional teams, managing budgets and risks, and applying Agile practices to develop innovative, sustainable food and nutrition solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, schedule, and deliverables for complex engineering initiatives in the food and nutrition sector.
- Lead cross‑functional teams—including R&D, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain—to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- Apply Agile and hybrid project management methodologies to accelerate development cycles while maintaining compliance and safety standards.
- Develop and control project budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost‑optimization strategies.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and program risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
- Report progress, milestones, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience managing large‑scale engineering projects, preferably in the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven expertise in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management frameworks.
- Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing multi‑million‑dollar budgets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building high‑performing, multidisciplinary teams.
