About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and design of nuclear operational readiness projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Develop detailed estimates, schedules, and change orders in collaboration with functional engineering teams.
- Provide technical and delivery leadership, facilitating timely decision‑making on project technical issues.
- Establish and manage the technical interface among engineers, customers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on scope, schedule, and budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in nuclear project engineering with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear safety regulations, design codes, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
