About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering efforts for complex, multi‑disciplinary power generation projects from concept through construction.
- Develop and review detailed electrical designs, schematics, and system studies using tools such as AutoCAD, PSS/E, and MATLAB.
- Coordinate with internal engineering sections, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments, providing regular status reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure all engineering work complies with NERC, IEEE, and other regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in power systems engineering and project leadership.
- Proficiency with design and analysis software (AutoCAD, PSS/E, MATLAB) and strong understanding of utility standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale projects, budgets, and cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
