About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams on federal energy initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and client objectives.
- Develop and validate energy models using industry‑standard software to quantify performance and cost savings.
- Coordinate performance contracting strategies, negotiating scope, schedule, and budget with stakeholders.
- Analyze data to inform design decisions, optimize building performance, and support zero‑energy certification.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients, regulators, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in energy‑efficient building design and performance contracting.
- Proficiency in energy modeling tools (e.g., EnergyPlus, eQUEST) and data analytics platforms.
- Strong knowledge of federal building codes, standards, and sustainability certifications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
