About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of long‑range fires programs, ensuring alignment with technical and mission objectives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including software, hardware, and AI/ML specialists—to integrate sensor, signal processing, and data‑fusion technologies.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, risk registers, and performance metrics, providing regular status reports to senior leadership.
- Translate complex technical requirements into actionable work packages and ensure compliance with security clearance and export control regulations.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication, including government customers, contractors, and internal partners, to resolve issues and drive decision‑making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of program or project management experience in defense, aerospace, or related high‑tech environments.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for analysis, modeling, and tool development.
- Strong background in machine learning, signal processing, and data fusion techniques.
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain) and familiarity with government acquisition processes.
