Security Engineer
Lead secure software delivery by embedding DevSecOps practices, automating security checks, and guiding engineering teams to build resilient applications and CI/CD pipelines using Python, Node.js, and AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate security controls and automated scans into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure-by-design delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement reusable security solutions across multiple product lines.
- Develop and maintain security tooling in Python and Node.js, leveraging AWS services for scalability.
- Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, and vulnerability assessments to reduce risk and improve reliability.
- Provide training and best‑practice guidance on secure coding, configuration hardening, and incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software security engineering or DevSecOps roles.
- Proficiency with Python, Node.js, and AWS infrastructure.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and security automation.
- Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle and OWASP Top 10.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
