About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and enforce security controls across the product lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Implement threat modeling, risk assessments, and secure coding practices for Python and Node.js services.
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines on AWS, automating scans, compliance checks, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with data science teams to secure machine‑learning workflows and protect proprietary credit data.
- Respond to incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement of security posture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product security or secure software engineering.
- Proficiency with Python, Node.js, AWS services (Lambda, ECS, IAM, KMS), and CI/CD tools.
- Hands‑on experience with threat modeling, secure DevOps, and vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of data‑privacy regulations and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
