About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Define system behavior, workflows, data contracts, and edge cases to support spec‑driven development.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional agile teams, developers, QA, and UX designers to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality increments.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the delivery team, negotiating scope, timelines, and trade‑offs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an Agile environment.
- Proven ability to write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills with a track record of managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and experience applying them to deliver complex software solutions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to model workflows, define data contracts, and anticipate edge cases.
