About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for oncology genetic testing solutions targeting the Japanese market.
- Collaborate with R&D, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure product design meets local clinical standards and patient needs.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify unmet needs and growth opportunities.
- Lead regulatory submission processes and maintain compliance with Japanese health authorities.
- Develop go‑to‑market strategies, pricing models, and launch plans, coordinating with sales and marketing for successful product rollout.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical oncology.
- Fluent in Japanese (language and business culture) with proven ability to work effectively with Japanese partners.
- Strong understanding of clinical genetics, molecular diagnostics, and oncology therapeutic landscapes.
- Experience navigating regulatory pathways and market access in Japan.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross‑functional leadership skills.
