About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Managed Databases (MySQL), ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and support teams to deliver high‑quality releases on schedule.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to prioritize features and enhancements.
- Define and track key metrics, using data to drive decisions and measure success.
- Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders, including executives and external partners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in cloud or SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of SQL, MySQL, and managed database services.
- Proven track record of delivering complex products using Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Passion for building simple, scalable solutions that empower developers.
