Product Manager
Lead the end‑to‑end development of accounting products for German SMEs, driving strategy, roadmap, and local market expansion within the complex DATEV ecosystem.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for German accounting, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Deepen the local offering by integrating with the DATEV ecosystem and adapting to regulatory changes.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, design, sales, and support to deliver high‑impact features.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to prioritize initiatives.
- Define success metrics, monitor performance, and iterate based on data and user insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in fintech or financial services.
- Strong understanding of German accounting, bookkeeping, and the DATEV ecosystem.
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) and proficient in English.
- Proven track record of launching successful products in a complex, regulated environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
