About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation pipelines using Python and AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift).
- Develop calculation engines that process sensor streams to generate real‑time risk scores for sewage and pump systems.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and alerting mechanisms to visualize critical events and support preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define data models, quality metrics, and performance benchmarks.
- Continuously optimize pipeline performance, cost, and reliability through monitoring and automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or SaaS product development.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with ETL tools, data warehousing, and real‑time analytics.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a pragmatic approach to production‑ready code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a fast‑moving environment.
