Summary: The Senior Product Designer leads the design of complex and high-impact features across Tekion’s platform, ensuring scalable, intuitive, and visually consistent user experiences. This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver elegant, user-centered designs. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong product vision, systems thinking, and mentorship capabilities. Duties & Responsibilities: • Lead the design of complex product areas from discovery to delivery, including user research, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes • Collaborate with stakeholders to define user problems, product strategy, and success metrics • Facilitate and contribute to design critiques, cross-functional workshops, and ideation sessions • Drive improvements to design systems, accessibility, and UX quality across the product • Partner with developers to ensure accurate design implementation and iterate based on feedback • Mentor junior designers and help uphold design best practices and team standards Job Complexity: Leads design efforts on complex product initiatives with broad scope and strategic impact Required Supervision: Operates independently and is trusted to lead critical projects with minimal oversight Expertise: Deep expertise in product design, UX research, and systems thinking; recognized for strategic insight and ability to influence product direction Qualifications: • 5–7 years of experience in product design or UX, with a strong portfolio of end-to-end product work • Expert proficiency in Figma and collaborative design tools • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor peers • Strong grasp of accessibility standards, usability best practices, and responsive design • Excellent storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills • Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or a related field
