About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop production‑grade front‑end components for the AWS Events Mobile App and AI experiences, ensuring performance at scale.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketers to translate ambiguous concepts into clear, user‑focused designs.
- Maintain design systems and component libraries in Figma and code, promoting consistency across global event platforms.
- Implement responsive, accessible UI using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS techniques.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on feedback to continuously improve attendee and marketer experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and building front‑end interfaces for consumer‑facing or large‑scale event products.
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a strong eye for visual design.
- Expertise in UI/UX tools such as Figma, and ability to create and maintain design systems.
- Experience working with AWS services (e.g., Amplify, CloudFront) and deploying front‑end assets at scale.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort navigating ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
