Senior Product Data Scientist driving data‑driven product decisions for in‑vehicle experiences, building metrics, dashboards, and predictive models using Python, SQL, and cloud analytics tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement metrics, dashboards, and reporting pipelines that surface user behavior and product performance across vehicle infotainment and telematics systems.
- Develop and validate predictive and causal models (e.g., churn, usage patterns, feature adoption) to inform product roadmaps and feature prioritization.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers to translate business questions into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Conduct rigorous A/B tests and experimental analyses to evaluate new in‑vehicle features and user experiences.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reproducibility by building robust data pipelines in SQL and cloud environments (AWS).
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience applying statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental design to product or consumer data.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit‑learn, statsmodels) and SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong background in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and ability to communicate insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with large‑scale cloud data platforms (AWS S3, Redshift, Athena) and building reproducible analytics pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, curiosity about user behavior, and a track record of influencing product strategy through data‑driven recommendations.
