About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global Process Safety Management (PSM) programs to meet international, regional, and local regulatory requirements.
- Lead risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety case development for highly hazardous chemical (HHC) processes and alternative energy projects.
- Design, review, and validate engineering solutions ensuring adherence to Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement safety controls, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives across worldwide facilities.
- Provide technical guidance and training to stakeholders on process safety standards, compliance audits, and emergency response planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of process safety experience.
- Proven expertise in PSM, hazardous chemical handling, and RAGAGEP implementation in large‑scale industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of global safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EU‑OSHA, ISO 45001) and ability to interpret and apply them.
- Demonstrated experience leading risk assessments, HAZOPs, and safety case development for complex projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence multi‑disciplinary teams and drive safety culture globally.
