About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute integration and test plans for advanced aerospace systems, ensuring compliance with mission requirements and security classifications.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in model‑based systems engineering, using tools such as DOORS and SysML to capture requirements and traceability.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks in C++ and Python to improve test efficiency and data quality.
- Analyze test data, generate performance reports, and recommend corrective actions to resolve integration issues.
- Coordinate with hardware, software, and mission specialists to resolve technical challenges and support system certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in systems integration and test for aerospace or defense programs.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of model‑based systems engineering, requirements management (e.g., DOORS), and test instrumentation.
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one; willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
