About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end‑to‑end architecture of next‑generation surveillance radar platforms.
- Lead signal‑processing algorithm development and validation, ensuring performance meets stringent aerospace requirements.
- Develop high‑integrity embedded software in C++ and Python, adhering to DO‑178C certification processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including hardware, mechanical, and test engineers—to integrate subsystems and resolve technical issues.
- Mentor senior engineers, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in development workflows.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in radar systems engineering, with a focus on surveillance or airborne radar.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for algorithm development and embedded software.
- Deep knowledge of signal‑processing techniques, RF hardware, and radar performance metrics.
- Experience with DO‑178C (or similar) software certification and aerospace quality standards.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance.
