About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own system architecture and technical baseline for advanced defense platforms.
- Lead Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities, creating and maintaining SysML models and traceability matrices.
- Develop and review high‑performance C++ code and Linux‑based software components for embedded and real‑time systems.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensuring compliance with DoD acquisition policies and security clearance requirements.
- Drive Agile and iterative development processes, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and continuous integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in MBSE, SysML, and architecture development for large‑scale defense systems.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems.
- Deep understanding of DoD acquisition, SAP clearance processes, and security compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
