About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize high‑performance FPGA designs for defense systems, focusing on signal integrity and high‑speed interfaces.
- Lead verification efforts using SystemVerilog/UVM, creating testbenches, simulation environments, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop setups.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional hardware and software teams to integrate FPGA modules into complete system solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, establish best practices, and drive technical standards for FPGA development.
- Produce detailed design documentation, review specifications, and ensure compliance with security and quality standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional FPGA design experience, with deep expertise in VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog.
- Proven track record in high‑speed digital design, signal integrity analysis, and board bring‑up.
- Strong verification background using UVM or similar methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Tcl for automation and tool integration.
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret DoD security clearance.
