About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑throughput backend services for crypto and alternative trading products, ensuring low latency and high reliability.
- Lead architecture decisions around microservices, containerization, and cloud deployment on AWS, including CI/CD pipelines and observability.
- Integrate real‑time market data streams using Kafka, and implement robust data pipelines for AI/ML models that enhance trading strategies.
- Collaborate with data scientists to embed machine learning models into production, optimizing performance and scalability.
- Mentor and coach a team of engineers, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, and security.
Requirements
- 10+ years of backend development experience, with deep expertise in Python, Go, or Java.
- Proven track record building scalable trading platforms or financial services with real‑time data processing.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, RDS) and experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with machine learning model deployment and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for driving innovation in fintech.
